In 2025, Europe installed 27.1 GWh of new battery storage capacity: 12th consecutive record breaking year of annual additions.
This marks 45% year-on-year growth and confirms that Europe has already expanded its battery fleet tenfold since 2021, rising from 7.8 GWh to 77.3 GWh today.
Total installed capacity to reach 400 GWh by 2029: more than six-fold expansion, but true potential lies at 780 GWh: 10XBatteryStorage.
